Reading a bcrypt hash
In $2b$10$N9qo8uLOickgx2ZMRZoMye…, 2b is the algorithm version, 10 is the cost (210 rounds), the next 22 characters are the salt and the rest is the hash. Bcrypt only uses the first 72 bytes of a password.
