Convert JSON to CSV (and CSV to JSON)
Paste a JSON array of objects to get a CSV file you can open in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. Every distinct key becomes a column, so objects with different fields still line up correctly. Use ⇄ Swap to go the other way and turn a CSV file into a JSON array.
How are nested objects handled?
With "Flatten nested objects" on, {"user": {"name": "Ann"}} becomes a user.name column. Arrays are written as JSON text inside the cell. Turn flattening off to store each nested object as a JSON string instead.
Why do accents look wrong in Excel?
Older Excel versions assume a legacy encoding for CSV files. Tick "Excel-friendly" to add a UTF-8 byte order mark so characters like é, ü or 中文 display correctly when you open the downloaded file.
