Generate the same time-based one-time passwords (RFC 6238) as Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password from a Base32 secret. Developers can use it to test two-factor login flows: create a random secret, scan the QR code with an authenticator app and compare codes. The secret never leaves your browser.
How TOTP works
The code is an HMAC of the shared secret and the current time step (Unix time ÷ period, usually 30 seconds), truncated to 6–8 digits. Verification accepts one step of clock drift either side.
Security tip: never paste the secret of a real production account into any website you don't control.
